Angela Townsend

Actor | Model | Dancer

Angela Townsend is an actress, model, and multidisciplinary storyteller originally from Chicago. She began performing as a salsa dancer at four years old, a foundation that shaped her artistic voice and continues to influence her screen presence today.

In 2020, Angela signed with 10 MGMT, earning commercial and print work with brands including Carvana, Converse x Joe Fresh Goods, and Lurie Children’s Hospital. Her television debut came with a co-star role on Showtime’s The Chi.

She has since led multiple short films—Here We Go Again, This Doesn’t Last Forever, and the festival-bound I Said No, which she also produced. Angela’s storytelling centers on womanhood, Afro-Latinidad, and identity.

Angela currently lives in Los Angeles, training at the Howard Fine Acting Studio and the Margie Haber Studio while building a body of work rooted in vulnerability, agency, and cultural truth.
